Feel Good Friday: July πŸŽ†Β

Back to New York

Our founder, Dhaval, had such a great time on his New York Pilot road trip, he's doing it all over again. This time, with our Creative Director, Rahul.🚘

Why? To capture the experiences and stories of the people that our tech exists to support. Here are a couple of soundbites from the first visit, from folks who had already been using Lotus for 6+ weeks:

"Lotus is almost like a cyberpunk-future kinda thing where it's like a part of you and you don't have to charge it all the time. that's a really cool feature."Β

"If you don’t have Lotus, you’re cooking in the dark. The problem with the wheelchair is you’re two inches from any wall switch. I cannot reach them."Β

Cool tech excites us too, but its daily impact is what drives us. πŸͺ·

Check out this behind-the-scenes shot of a video interview with some of our NY pilot participants. We can't wait to share the final cuts!

You voted & we listened

Last week we surveyed our community (you!) on different tactile design options to make a future iteration of the Lotus Ring button even easier to see and feel, and the winning choice was:

Long dash, short dash, bump - with the longest dash closest to the black IR band on the ring. A community and team favorite with a beautiful mix of tactility and directionality.
