Feel Good Friday: DC to NY ✈️

This month, our founder Dhaval is traveling east & bringing his love for human-centered design with him.

First stop

Washington, DC, for the 2025 ATC Summit with AARP. He'll be one of the featured Founders Day speakers, sharing his journey from UI/UX leadership at Apple to building a ring that controls objects by pointing (that's us! 🪷)

Second stop. And third, fourth, fifth...

New York for a multi-week road trip. We launched our pilot program with the State of New York– offices of aging, disability, and veterans– a month ago. 51 participants, each trying Lotus at home for 6 weeks.

So what's next?

Keeping people at the core of everything we do, Dhaval will be driving around to meet pilot participants all throughout NY– listening to feedback & learning from lived experiences.

He'll be kicking off his trip in NYC the week of May 12, and plotting his adventure from there.📍

Speaking of human-centered design, our earliest customers have started sharing their reviews. Like our friend, Ana, at California Resource Services for Independent Living (CRS-IL):

"It's user-friendly, quick to install and needs no special tools. I loved how it was ready to use at arrival...I highly recommend it."

Until next time 👋
